SAN FRANCISCO (Discovery Channel) - Scientists on the US Pacific coast are increasingly observing emaciated gray whales in what they fear is a sign that global warming is wreaking havoc in the whales’ Bering Sea summer feeding grounds.
Steven Swartz, head researcher with the National Marine Fisheries Service, who with his team meticulously photograph and identify the migrating whales, estimates that at least ten percent of the population is seriously skinny.
“We’re sitting on a gold mine here,” Swartz said. “People have been complaining for years about global warming when, instead, we have been missing an opportunity to cash in.”
The Global Warming Diet has hit bookstores nationwide, and is expected to debut in the New York Times top ten. Preorders at Amazon.com have set company records.

Personally, I’m looking forward to the anti-Global Warming rallies the supermodels will do in counter-protest to Al Gore’s appearances…:)
