NEW YORK (CBS) - The International Association of Firefighters has gone on the offensive against “America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani, releasing a 13-minute video that viciously rips into the former New York mayor, who has been using his leadership demonstrated on September 11th to urge people around the country to support him in his quest to become President of the United States.

The video, released early Wednesday evening, is titled “Rudy Giuliani: Urban Legend,” and offers testimonials from various members of the organization and family members of firefighters lost in the terror attacks.

Upon hearing of the Urban Legend, the Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, have taken the challenge to prove or disprove the Giuliani urban legend.

“We’ll be using robots built by Grant (Imahara) to attack a large metropolitan city, causing thousands of deaths, and seeing how the city officials react,” said Savage.

“Yes, that is correct,” Hyneman added. “It’s not like we have film or tape of an actual attack on, say, New York City to base any assessment of Giuliani. So we’ll have to create such a scenario.”

When asked about the Mythbusters’ plan, Giuliani agreed to participate, if he got to meet Kari Byron.
