NEW YORK (Fox News) - FOX News Channel correspondent Laura Ingle was interviewing Newsweek technology editor Steve Levy when somebody jumped into the live shot and grabbed Ingle’s microphone.
The man might have missed the more valuable object. Levy, at the time, was holding one of only four iPhones Apple had given out for reporter reviews.
The would-be thief didn’t get very far with the microphone and no one was hurt.
After a few moments, Levy regained his composure and resumed the interview with Ingle about the iPhone.
Following the incident, fanatics of the Motorola Razr cell phones are demanding equal time.
“It’s just like Fox News to only show one side of the story. It’s not just the Apple iPhone that has idiots trying to get on TV,” said Mike Doheny of Motorola. “We have just as many crazies wanting to show their asses on live television, and we demand equal time.”
